Starting school can be a bit daunting and not just for the children! Whether you’re five or thirty-five the best way to find your feet and make new friends is to get stuck in. So why not consider joining the PTA and help us put the fun into fundraising.

We aim to mix business with pleasure by organising a wide variety of events throughout the school year. For the foodies out there we hold regular cake sales, whilst for sporty types (or PTA supporters wanting to burn off some of those cake sale treats!) how about a sponsored bike ride to Brighton? Then there’s always the Christmas Fair, quiz night or summer barbecue. Still not convinced, then why not come to one of our informal get togethers where new ideas will always be welcomed.

Why the PTA matters

Every year the PTA provides much needed extra funds so that we can purchase items that enhance the teaching and learning as well as the curriculum. For example a couple of years ago we were able to buy a brand new Interactive Whiteboards in each classroom all funded by PTA money. It was a priority to replace the existing boards which were over 10 years old and not entirely working properly. Without the PTA the school would not have been able to fund this project.
