We understand that starting Nursery is an important step in your child's development, and we are here to support both you and your little one every step of the way.

If your child is still wearing nappies, please ensure they arrive in a clean and dry nappy so they are comfortable throughout the morning. Our Nursery staff will check and change nappies regularly throughout the day to ensure your child stays clean and comfortable. We have designated nappy change times in the morning and afternoon, but we are always attentive to each child’s needs and will change them as soon as it’s necessary. Every step of our care is taken with respect and dignity, ensuring your child feels secure and respected at all times.

We kindly ask that parents and carers provide nappies and wet wipes. These are stored in a labelled box under our changing table, ensuring that each child's personal items are easily accessible and secure. If your child experiences soreness, we’re more than happy to apply nappy cream, provided by you. Please make sure it’s clearly labelled with your child’s name, and complete a barrier cream form, which is available from the Nursery team.

When the time comes for your child to start toilet training, we will work closely with you to provide gentle, supportive guidance, ensuring that this important milestone is achieved with confidence, care, and dignity.
